Jesse Hoffner, Minot, sentenced for breaking son’s windows

Jesse Aaron Hoffner, 52, Minot, was sentenced last week to 360 days in jail, with all suspended but the 40 days he already served, and two years of supervised probation for smashing his son’s apartment windows with an aluminum baseball bat on May 5. He was given a deferred imposition of sentence on a Class A misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Hoffner was ordered to pay $580.22 in restitution for the criminal mischief charge and $325 in court costs and to stay away from his son for two years.
