Trinity Health providers earn high quality scores

Trinity Health physicians have earned a “Grade A” for providing quality services that are high in value, according to a press release.

A recent quality scorecard from Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota shows providers in Trinity’s care system scored the maximum number of points in eight out of 10 quality measures, earning a “Grade A” score of 90 out of 100. That places Trinity Health in the top tier of providers nationwide who participate in BCBSND’s Blue Alliance program.

“This scorecard demonstrates the commitment of our providers to deliver top-quality services that are focused on our patients’ needs,” said Trinity Health Vice President Thomas Warsocki, in the press release. “They deserve all of the credit for putting so much effort into providing exceptional care every day.”

Blue Alliance is a value-based program that works with North Dakota providers to deliver a sustainable and reliable healthcare experience for patients by addressing key cost drivers and tying provider payments to outcomes.

Providers are reimbursed based on their performance in key areas, including hospital and ER admissions, well-child visits, breast cancer and depression screening, quality improvement, and patient experience. The goal is to provide “the right care at the right time at the right place and by the right healthcare provider.”
