Stanley man arrested in connection with stray bullet incident
STANLEY — A Stanley man was arrested in connection with an incident early Saturday morning when a bullet went through the bedroom wall, mattress, pillow and exited a town home, barely missing a sleeping Stanley couple, according to Stanley Chief of Police Kris Halvorson.
Jacob Huescher was arrested on a Class C felony charge of reckless endangerment. A .300 Winchester Magnum, which was the weapon discharged through the wall and building, along with other firearms were seized at the scene, Halvorson said.
John and Luwayne Nelson were asleep in their home when the stray bullet entered their bedroom. The bullet missed Luwayne Nelson by about an inch. The Nelsons and Huescher are neighbors.
