Matthew White Bear, Garrison, sentenced for delivery of oxycodone in Minot

Matthew Darwood White Bear, 30, Garrison, will serve 90 days in jail and three years of supervised probation for delivery of oxycodone in Minot in April 2017.

Court records show that White Bear pleaded guilty on Tuesday in district court in Minot to the Class B felony charge.

Judge Gary Lee sentenced him to five years in prison, all suspended but the 90 days, and gave him credit for eight days already served. Lee also ordered White Bear to obtain a chemical dependency evaluation and to pay $1,375 in court costs.

White Bear allegedly delivered oxycodone to a confidential informant working for the Ward County Narcotics Task Force. Samantha Joyce Wild, a co-defendant, was also charged in the case.
