Energy Secretary Perry to tour Falkirk Mine, Coal Creek Station

UNDERWOOD – Department of Energy Secretary Rick Perry will visit North Dakota on Monday.

During the trip, Perry will tour North American Coal’s Falkirk Mine, an active coal mine with a dragline excavator and a reclaimed mine, and Great River Energy’s Coal Creek Station DryFining fuel enhancement operations and the Blue Flint Ethanol plant operations, all at Underwood, according to Sen. John Hoeven and Congressman Kevin Cramer.

Following the tours, Perry and Cramer will host a roundtable at University of Mary, Bismarck, with executives from the energy industry. Gov. Doug Burgum has been invited to participate in the events.
