Statewide public transportation plan to be discussed

The North Dakota Department of Transportation will hold a public open house Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. in the Minot Public Library to provide an update on ND Moves, a statewide active and public transportation plan for North Dakota.

“The plan will review and identify existing and emerging needs and recommend strategies for the future of biking, walking, rolling and transit across the state,” according to a news release.

Those attending will receive updates on plan progress and introduce for review and comment a proposed statewide bicycle network. Representatives from the Transportation Department and its consultant team will be on hand to answer questions and discuss concerns.

Those unable to attend the open house can send written statements or comments to Steve Mullen, Project Manager at smullen@nd.gov.
