Kyle Glaser, Willow City, sentenced to prison for burglary, terrorizing

Kyle Phillip Glaser, 26, Willow City, will serve about 27 months in prison for burglarizing a house on Feb. 9 in Bottineau County while armed with a sawed-off shotgun, when two people were home.

Glaser pleaded guilty on Thursday in district court in Bottineau to burglary while armed with a firearm, a Class B felony, burglary, a Class C felony, and terrorizing, a Class C felony.

According to court documents, Glaser told the two people in the residence that he was going to kill them. He also burglarized several apartments in Lansford on Feb. 9.

Judge Michael Hurly sentenced him to a total of 36 months in prison, with nine months suspended, and gave Glaser credit for 41 days already served in jail. He also ordered Glaser to serve two years of supervised probation and to pay $1,135 in court costs.
