Trinity Health has added two new physicians to its medical group
Dr. Ira Paul Michaelson is a board-certified gastroenterologist at Health Center-Medical Arts. A lifelong Boston area resident, Michaelson earned his medical degree at the University of Florence in Italy. He completed his internal medicine residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston; Cook County Hospital, Chicago; and Carney Hospital, Boston. He then did a two-year fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. He practiced 35 years at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford, Mass., prior to joining Trinity Health.
Dr. Parul Tangri is a family medicine specialist at Trinity Community Clinic-Western Dakota in Williston. She received her medical degree from Windsor University School of Medicine, St. Kitts, West Indies, and completed her family medicine residency at the University of North Dakota’s Center for Family Medicine in Minot, where she was elected chief resident her final year. Originally from India, she spent most of her childhood in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
