ND communities approved for grants by MAGIC Fund
Thirteen communities were approved for $41,300 in marketing funds from the Minot MAGIC Fund Friday.
The MAGIC Fund Screening Committee approved matching grants for the following communities:
– Burlington, $4,000 to promote a proposed splash pad.
– Crosby, $3,000 to promote local shopping.
– Garrison, $4,000 for marketing and media advertising.
– Harvey, $3,500 for website redesign and update of promotional resources.
– Hazen, $3,500 for advertising events and exploring replacement of street pole banners.
– Kenmare, $4,000 to promote community and events.
– Mohall, $3,500 to create a promotional commercial.
– Parshall, $4,000 to advertise community events and attract tourists.
– Pick City, $500 for newspaper advertisements for businesses.
– Portal, $300 for website administrator fees.
– Rugby Chamber of Commerce, $1,750 to market tourism and events.
– Rugby JDA, $1,750 for a marketing campaign using website, radio, newspapers and magazines, purchase domain, revamp logo and produce brochures.
– Stanley, $4,000 for radio, TV, print and web advertising.
– Turtle Lake, $3,500 for billboards and promotion of events.
