The Democrat-endorsed candidate for the office, Boschee is running against Republican Will Gardner in a election to be decided Nov. 6. He is a 2000 graduate of Bishop Ryan High School in Minot, a state representative from Fargo and a Realtor. The Secretary of State is responsible for elections and registrations of businessess, nonprofits, charities, contractors, notaries and other agents. The secretary also serves as state boxing commissioner.
