Talk, Talk, Talk – Minot motivational speaker, author speaking in March

Sue Hamilton released her second book, “Carried by Faith,” in January and will be sharing with and speaking to Minot Community in March.

Hamilton is a motivational speaker. Her newest book shares the personal and candid story of the desperate and dangerous journey into drugs and alcohol and the power of a praying mother and hope of a new future.

Her first speaking event will be on March 1 for a Support/Family Group for Families of Substance Abusers at 6:30 p.m. at First District Health Unit. The group started by two retired counselors who saw need for those with substance abuse issues and those discharged from prison/jail integrating back into community and recovery. Contact Frank Schaeffer for more details at 240-4760.

On March 15 she will hold a Meet the Author event at 1 p.m. at the Minot Commission on Aging. The book club there will discuss “Carried by Faith” and ask the author questions. More information contact Merrie Borud 852-0561.

On the same day she will be at a Servant Ministries Book Focus at 7 p.m at Bethany Lutheran Church. The group will be reading Hamilton’s novel and then discussing their thoughts about the book and the journey of writing with the author. Contact Pastor Gerald Roise for more information at 629-1810.

Hamilton has been inspiring secular and Christian audiences with her “tell-it-like-it-is” approach to life since 1999. She is an excellent story teller, sharing her experiences from management and customer service to living through a life of substance abuse.

Book is available on Sue’s website, on Amazon, and on Barnes and Nobles site.
