State Parks reservations now open

The 2018 North Dakota reservation system for state park camping sites is open. Reservations may be made well in advance of the summer season.

State park full services begin Friday, May 18, and the early reservation window allows visitors to make sure they have a campsite ready upon arrival. Online reservations are accessible 24 hours a day.

Campsite and tipi reservations may be made for May 18 through September 3. In addition, the following horse parks will take campsite and corral reservations as follows: Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park through September 3; Fort Ransom State Park through September 30; Little Missouri State Park through October 31 and Sully Creek State Park through November 30. All campsite stays are limited to 14 consecutive days in any 30-day period.

Cabin, yurt, shelter and meeting hall reservations may be made 365 days in advance. Reservations for campsites and cabins/yurts/tipis can be made until noon the day prior to arrival. Reservations may be booked online at or by calling the toll-free reservation line at 800-807-4723 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily. Horse campsites and corrals, meeting halls and shelters must be reserved directly through the park.

A $7 daily or $35 annual vehicle permit is required for each vehicle entering the park.
