Man charged with intent to deliver heroin, cocaine

A Detroit, Mich., man is charged with intending to deal cocaine in Minot on Jan. 31.

Ema-nuel Dewitt Fortson was arrested at the Amtrak Station, according to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court.

An officer had arrested him on a warrant for possession with intent to deliver heroin, a Class B felony, dating back to April 2017. When he was arrested on Jan. 31, he had a plastic bag with cocaine. In addition, he had five phones and $5,344 in U.S. currency.

The charges were filed against Fortson in district court in Minot.
