Minot church to host Night to Shine prom

Minot First Church has announced that it will be among approximately 500 churches throughout the world that will host a Night to Shine Prom for people with special needs. Night to Shine is sponsored by the Tim Tebow foundation.

Feb. 9 is the day that Minot First Church Assembly of God will host the prom night for people with special needs, ages 14 and older. All 50 states and 16 countries will be participating, holding their own events.

Every guest of Night to Shine enters the complimentary event on a red carpet. Guests receive the royal treatment, including hair and makeup stations, shoe shining area, limousine rides. corsages and boutonnieres, a catered dinner, karaoke, prom favors for each honored guest and a Respite Room for parents and caretakers. A king and queen will be crowned.
