Alzheimer’s presentation to be held in Minot

The Alzheimer’s Association will offer a free presentation titled, “The Basics.”

This free presentation will take place on Feb. 12 from 6:45 – 8:15 p.m. at the Adult Learning Center, 1609 4th Ave NW, Minot. This presentation is free and open to the public; registration is not required. This project is supported by funding granted through the North Dakota Department of Human Services, Aging Service Division.

This workshop is for anyone who would like to know more about Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

Attendees can discover the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia, learn how Alzheimer’s affects the brain, what the risk factors are, diagnosis, stages of the disease, treatment and hope for the future.
