Scheels supports local Minot businesses

Shyanne Belzer/MDN Scheel’s in Dakota Square Mall gave away a check Thursday afternoon to 13 local organizations. The check totalled $64,000 and is going to be split amongst organizations such as Red Cross, United Way, YWCA, The Boys and Girls Ranch, and many more. The Events Coordinator, Beth Feldner, said “We are really thankful to say thank you to all the organizations that help our community and to be able to give back.” The Minot Scheel’s opened in 1980 and started doing their Community Giving Event some time after.
