Memorabilia is on display today in the lobby of the Grand Hotel in Minot in commemoration of Pearl Harbor Day today. On Dec. 7, 1941, Japanese aircraft attacked the U.S. Navy’s base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. A single rose will be added to the display shown here. “The purpose of this display is to share with our community the history of the Pearl Harbor attack and to remember those who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom today,” said Richard Reuer, public relations officer for the Minot American Legion Post.
