Knife River Indian Villages winter operating hours
STANTON – New operating hours at Knife River Indian Villages near Stanton begin on Monday, Sept. 4. The new hours are the park’s winter operating hours.
The park Visitor Center and the earthlodge will be open daily from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Central Time. Guided tours of the earthlodge will be offered throughout the winter. The Visitor Center also has exhibits on life in the Hidatsa villages and a 15-minute movie.
Trails in the park are open daily from sunrise to sunset. The park has about 12 miles of hiking trails. Maps of the trails are available at the Visitor Center.
