Busy weekend in Minot
Events range from music to exercise to a walk/run
It’s going to be a busy weekend in Minot, once again.
From multiple music festivals to an African cultural picnic, and from Story Time at Main Street Books to Minot Princess Camp at the State Fair Center, there is a lengthy list of activities from which to choose for those local residents and visitors this weekend.
“We appreciate our summers here so much that we like to celebrate summertime with festivals, picnics and events across the whole community,” said Minot Mayor Chuck Barney.

® First Annual African Cultural Picnic, Saturday at Polaris Park
® Taube Museum of Art’s 10th Annual Small Works Exhibition and Auction continues
® Artspace Suite 1 Gallery’s “Clearly From Within,” featuring the work of artist Carol Fielhaber
Numerous other events taking place around town promise to make for an exciting weekend, particularly given forecasts for good weather.
“We love it when there is so much going on, when people have options and when organizations plan so as to work with one another,” said Visit Minot Executive Director Phyllis Burckhard.
