Update: Minot HS Central Campus bomb threat

Minot High School Central Campus received a bomb threat at 12:11 pm today. The school was evacuated in accordance with school procedures. The Minot Police Department Bomb Squad was notified and responded. The Bomb Squad requested mutual aid assistance from the US Air Force Explosives Odor Detection Dogs.

Members of the Bomb Squad, Minot Public Schools, and USAF K-9 team conducted a systematic search of the school. No suspicious items were located. A thorough investigation of this incident is ongoing.

Minot High School Central Campus will remain closed tonight. School will resume at its regular scheduled time tomorrow morning. There will be a police presence in the area of the school tomorrow.
