Nickelback rocking NDSF Grandstand Saturday
No North Dakota State Fair performer list is complete without the token rock/pop act and for 2018, that act is Nickelback with Pop Evil as their opener. They will be performing tomorrow night at 8 p.m.
Nickelback has been performing for over 23 years since forming in Canada. The four-man band includes Chad Kroager as lead vocals and guitar, Ryan Peake as backing vocals and guitars, Mike Kroager as bass, and Daniel Adair as backing vocals and drums.
They have had more than 23 chart-topping singles, nine studio albums, two compilation albums, one extended play album, five video albums, and 32 music videos. With so much content and music that span the years, they won’t be short on things to perform to keep the crowd entertained.
Their opening act, Pop Evil, is working their way up in the charts with popular songs such as “Trenches,” “Purple,” and “100 in a 55.”
The band is no stranger to touring with big names like Nickelback as they have performed with Papa Roach, Finger Eleven, Escape the Fate, and others.
The Nickelback performance is one of only two that weren’t included in the Grandstand Showpass. The cost of tickets is $50 for reserved or standing rooms.
