Dinosaurs return to Minot
On Friday through Monday, Jurassic Quest will be returning to Minot for its third time. With more than 80 life-size dinosaurs, it’s sure to be an explorative, fun time.
Jurassic Quest will take place at the North Dakota State Fair Event Center. Friday through Sunday, it will be open from 3-8 p.m. Then on its final day, Monday, it will be open extra hours, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Katelyn Nelson, who is in charge of the North Dakota State Fair marketing, said she expects this year’s event to be popular.
“This event has brought in over 10,000 people of all ages from 2 to over 65 years old. With even more dinosaurs in the exhibit this year for kids and adults to learn about and see I think Jurassic Quest will be a family favorite once again,” Nelson said.
With an exhibit that has doubled in size, Jurassic Quest will have a lot to offer children and adults. A regular kids ticket, costing $20, allows any kid from the ages of 2 to 12 to look at the Dinosaur exhibit, do a Dino tour, go to the Dino theater, the science stations, Dino crafts, and Dino coloring station. To do any additional attractions, such as the Dinosaur Rides, Fossil Digs, Scooters, Inflatables, and Bungee Pull will cost an additional $5. A VIP Kids ticket costs $34 and allows for unlimited access to all the additional attractions as well as all that the regular kids ticket costs.
An adult ticket costs $20 and offers the same as the regular kids ticket. Any seniors who are 65 or older can go for only $18. Kids under 2 will get free general admission.
A growing, popular event, Jurassic Quest aims to be fun and educational as families are able to interact and learn about the 80 different life-size dinosaurs. There will be a variety of dinosaurs from enormous ones to cute baby dinosaurs.
Those in charge are passionate about creating an amazing experience for kids and adults alike. They work with a team of experts and collaborate with paleontologist partners so they can be correct and build an exceptional product and a solid reputation.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Jurassic Quest site.
