Christmas cheer to fill the halls of Northland Harvest Church

Local artist Daniel Starks to perform Saturday

Daniel Starks has already started performing all around at events like the Norsk Høstfest, Dickens Festival, Rock the Leaves, and more. He’s even opened for Susie McEntire. Starks plays a large variety of covers from Elvis to The Beatles to Johnny Cash. With a nice folky rock sound, he’s growing more and more popular as he tours around to events.

On Saturday, he will perform a festive Christmas concert at Northland Harvest Church. It will begin with a social at 6:30 p.m. where cider, coffee, and cookies will be available. At 7 p.m. David Gonzalez will start the concert and Starks will take the stage at 7:30 p.m.

The goal of “A Daniel Starks Christmas” is simple. Celebrate the Christmas season and give cheer. He hopes to make this a Christmas show like nothing seen before.

Starks lives in Ryder and is homeschooled. His musical skills are all self-taught. His musical journey is growing and heading in new directions as he performs and gets his sound out there. He’s mainly advertising through social media, with his own Facebook page called Daniel Starks Music, where he posts about events and videos of some of his performances.
