The 47th Annual Celebration of Christmas Music, with the theme of “Come to the Light,” will be presented Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Estevan, Sask., at 7 p.m. and Sunday at Concordia Lutheran Church in Crosby, at 4 p.m.

A total of 53 singers from the Northwest Chorus of Crosby and the Southeast Chorus of Estevan have been rehearsing in Crosby for the past 12 weeks and will close the season with the two performances. The chorus and musicians represent a truly international group.

Co-Directors are Shauna Meek of Estevan, and Harlan Johnson of Crosby. Principal accompanist is Danielle Evenson and secondary accompanist is Allison Holzer, both from Estevan. This year there will be a women’s chorus and a men’s chorus.

A piano duet from Estevan will be the featured selection. Danielle Evenson and Allison Holzer are the performers, playing Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride. Various singers of the chorus will also be performing other solo parts.

Tickets will be available at the door. Prices are $6 for adults and high school, $3 for students from grades one to eight with pre-school being free. A tickets for an immediate family is $15.

Following the performance at Concordia on Sunday, there will be a no-host buffet supper at the By-Pass Restaurant in Crosby. Everyone is welcome to enjoy this time of fellowship.
