County, classic rock headlining Høstfest this weekend
Today and Saturday are the last two days for people to attend this year’s Norsk Høstfest. Even with the festival winding down to its end, though, there remains a spectacular weekend ahead.
Today, Joe Diffie and John Michael Montgomery will be perform at the Great Hall of the Vikings. Diffie is a Grammy and ACM award winner and a multi-platinum-selling country artist. Montgomery puts his all into his songs, singing with so much heart that many fans cite a powerful connection with him and his words. The two men will perform a double header show at 1 p.m.
Tonight’s performer will be The Doobie Brothers at 7:30 p.m. A wildly popular band since the 1960s, the legacy they’ve built has formed not just because of their hit records but also because unrivaled commitment to musical integrity and a steadfast allegiance to their enthusiastic fan base. With a wide range of music made throughout the ever-changing music industry, they’re known to connect with generations of fans.
On the final day of the Høstfest, Australian rock band, Little River Band, will perform at 1 p.m. With lauded songwriting, powerful vocals and guitar harmonies, the band became popular in America in the late ’70s. The concerts are described as always being fun and full of vitality with many concertgoers sometimes not even remembering a popular song was by the Little River Band.
Saturday evening, Gary Allan and Josh Turner will perform a double header show. Each is a respected performer in his own right. Allan is described as a “modern day outlaw” while Turner is a disciple of traditional country music. Both have had many hits, Turner being a multi-platinum singer.
Between all these performances, there will be free options filling up the time. Alongside all of the daily attractions, there will be a large variety of entertainment options.
