As One service in Oak Park Sunday

Members from nine Minot churches will gather for an As One service in the Oak Park band shell at 10 a.m. Sunday.

Pastor Steve Oster of Cornerstone Presbyterian said he expects up to 1,000 people to attend the service, which will be followed by a potluck in the park after the service. Oster said the weather forecast for Sunday morning is good and he believes “God has this covered.”

Ramin Parsa from California, a former Shiite Muslim from Iran who is now Christian, will speak during the service. Parsa will also speak at the jail ministry on Saturday evening, said Oster.

Churches that are participating in the service are Cornerstone Presbyterian, Northland Harvest, Bethel Free, Calvary Alliance, Open Gate, Grace Fellowship, Bible Fellowship, Church of the Living God, and Grace Action Chapel International.
