The Minot Coalition on Aging held a fashion show for senior guests to enjoy.

Dress Barn and Christopher and Banks modeled their in-season attire. The stage was decorated with tables surrounding it for the senior models to walk between and up to showcase their clothing options. There was music, coffee, dessert and lots of humor all around.

The show also had Miss Minot’s Outstanding Teen Ashley Beers and Miss North Dakota State Fair’s Outstanding Teen Delaney Halverson as special guests. Both gave some entertainment for those at the show while models changed. Beers gave a performance of an Irish dance while Halverson gave a short speech on her platform, which is about taking care of our seniors. Her platform was very important to those at the Coalition of Aging and those in attendance.

As those in attendance arrived, they were directed to a table where they could put their name in for a door prize drawing. On the same table was a frame with a paper inside reading “In honor of those who are watching from Heaven. We miss you.” It had four names written: Anna Mae, Evelyn, Katie and Norah.

The show was the 4th Fall Fashion Show. The coalition also does a spring show. It was also the last show for Irene Gousheh, who is the activities coordinator. She will be retiring in December.
