The North Dakota Association of Realtors has inducted two Minot Realtors into the National Association of Realtors prestigious Omega Tau Rho fraternity and presented them the Medallion of Service Award.

Recipients of the honorary Omega Tau Rho fraternity membership and the Medallion of Service Award are Edward Schnaible and Bernard Pellenwessel of Signal Realtors in Minot.

Announcement of their recognition was made during the 2017 Realtor Convention of the Dakotas held in Aberdeen, S.D.

The Omega Tau Rho fraternity was created by the National Association of Realtors in 1950 and membership is represented by the Medallion of Service Award. It is presented in appreciation and recognition of the recipient’s leadership and years of service to local, state and national Realtor organizations. Once a medallion is awarded, the recipient is a member for life.

Schnaible and Pellenwessel were also both recently awarded “Realtor Emeritus” status by the National Association of Realtors. “Realtor Emeritus” status is granted to any person who has held membership in the National Association of Realtors for a cumulative period of 40 years in one or more associations of Realtors.

Jill Beck, CEO of the N.D. Association of Realtors, a statewide trade association that represents nearly 1,800 members involved in all aspects of the real estate industry, thanked both men and stated these awards are “truly an honor, as it marks exemplary dedication and service to our organization.”
