Hildahl receives national honor at Georgia ceremony
Minot dentist Dr. Mark Hildahl was inducted as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists at its 88th Annual Convocation in Atlanta, Ga., on Oct. 19.
An honorary organization for the recognition of outstanding and meritorious service to the profession and community, the College presented Hildahl with a membership plaque, a gold lapel pin, and a gold key symbolic of this Fellowship for conspicuous service rendered in the art and science of dentistry.
In an impressive cap and gown ceremony, 265 dentists from the United States were inducted into the College at this years’ ceremony witnessed by hundreds of members and guests. The College, with representative chapters in more than 120 countires, has over 11,000 members, including about 6,500 in the United States.
Hildahl has been practicing dentistry in Minot since his graduation from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1977. Hildahl is one of four practicing doctors at Souris Valley Dental Group, a local business that he and Dr. David Keup started in January 1978.
