CHICAGO – Minot auto dealers Kathleen and Michael Gaddie were recently honored with the Honda President’s Award at Honda of America’s annual meeting in Chicago.

This marks the 4th consecutive year Ryan Honda of Minot has earned the highest award Honda bestows on its national chain of dealers, making it the only dealership in the Dakotas – and one of only 18 stores across the nation – to receive the award four consecutive years.

The Gaddies accepted the award from Toshiaki Mikoshiba, President and CEO of Honda North America Inc,. and Honda Senior Vice President Jeff Conrad in a private ceremony.

“We are honored to receive this award on behalf of all the talented and committed men and women at Ryan Honda of Minot,” said owner/operator Kathleen Gaddie. “This is a tribute to our business culture, as well as the quality of the people we work with to serve the people of Minot. We couldn’t be more proud of the hard work the Ryan Honda team does day in and day out.”

The Honda President’s Award was established in 1995 to recognize outstanding business-wide performance. The goal remains to challenge dealerships to continually grow and set the standard by which other companies aspire in all operational areas, including: customer service and sales satisfaction, sales, training, and profitability.

Earning the President’s Award is no small feat, requiring total commitment from every team member for the entire calendar year. More than 1,000 Honda dealerships across the country compete annually to receive this distinction.
