With the summer season in full effect, the Roosevelt Park Zoo is hosting its third annual Bacon & Brew and Wine Too at the Zoo from 6-10 p.m. tonight with a members only event scheduled between 5-6 p.m.

During the 21 and older celebration, partygoers can anticipate an evening of live music, ice cold brews, perfectly paired wines along with 25 delicious bacon presentations including “Monkey Tails” and “Mango candied bacon crisps.”

Described as a fun and exciting way for adults to experience the Roosevelt Park Zoo, Jennifer Kleen, the Minot Zoo Crew executive director, believes this event is an excellent opportunity to establish friendships while supporting the animals, staff and various operations at the zoo.

“All of the tickets that are purchased become a fundraiser for the Minot Zoo Crew,” Kleen said. “This event can be a fun night out with friends and a chance to meet new people.”

Along with enjoying bacon inspired dishes, visitors will be the first to learn about the highly anticipated mystery animal to join the Roosevelt Park Zoo.

Tickets for tonight’s event cost $50.
